Custom-made prints

Sometimes an image begins with a specific idea.
A particular animal, a landscape, or a certain atmosphere you would like to see captured. With commissioned prints, I create photography based on such a request, made with care and translated into a tangible print.

I work exclusively with physical prints. No digital files, but a carefully finished end result, intended to be viewed, kept, and given a place.

I work on commission for private clients, companies, and organisations who value quality, calmness, and thoughtful finishing.

Working method

Every commission starts with your idea. After an initial email, we schedule an online introductory meeting, during which we discuss:

• which animal, landscape, or subject is central, and what is feasible and responsible within Dutch nature and wildlife
• the desired look and feel
• the format and finishing

Because nature and wildlife cannot be directed, I work with project-based pricing rather than hourly rates. Based on our conversation, I provide a clear quotation, so the possibilities and costs are clear in advance.

I take the time needed to achieve a fitting result, within the agreed scope and budget.

Package 1 — Commissioned print

For those who would like to have an image created on commission and receive it as a high-quality print.

Included:

• commissioned photography (nature or wildlife in the Netherlands)
• careful post-processing
• one fine art print
• size of your choice
• paper type selected in consultation

You will receive a loose print, ready to be presented as you wish.

Package 2 — Commissioned print, fully finished

For those who would like to receive the image as a fully finished piece.

Included:

• everything from Package 1
• advice on format
• professional framing
• frame and finishing selected together
• ready to hang

Here, I ensure that image, paper, and frame form a cohesive whole.

Price indication

Commissioned prints start from €550.

The final price depends on the subject, the chosen format, and the finishing. After the introductory meeting, you will receive a non-binding quotation.
